Welcome to my blog!

2025 marks five years since the WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. The past five years have been marked with uncertainty, despite the advances the global health community made. We often shy away from uncertainty, making every effort to create a more certain future. However, in these times, we need to embrace uncertainty. Embracing uncertainty breeds creativity to solve the world's greatest problems. Embracing uncertainty builds resilience and agility. Embracing uncertainty allows us to be courageous in the midst of dark times.

The start of 2025 already has seen notable challenges including the cutting of USAID funding, sweeping executive orders, shifting geopolitics, and yes, uncertainty. However, I am optimistic that progress will be made; lives will be saved; and health for all achieved, even in the face of extraordinary uncertainty. The opportunity is too great to squander.

As a global health attorney, I am excited to share my perspective on global health law matters. This blog will explore my experience in global health, current events and the broader landscape of global health law. Stay tuned for more insights and reflections!
